Live gigs:
Yes, I'm still playing Bohemian open mic night down at the 3Bs bar (under the Town Hall) in Reading pretty much every Wednesday when I can get a slot (depends on how many people show up to play/ what time I get there)... generally alternating between poetry one week and tunes the next...
And there should be a full set gig playing tunes at Pavlov's Dog in Reading in October - exact date to be announced...

I'm giving away 150 copies of Broken Brow's 7" vinyl A/AA single
A - "Vagrant"
This is Jazz-punk Weirdcore! Think the Muppets meets Metallica. Or indeed the "bastard offspring of King Kurt shagging Nick Cave..."
AA - "Bite Back" ....
A song of fury and defiance, screaming out at everything that's ever hurt you or anyone you cared for....
This storming piece of vinyl goes to the first 150 people to get their arses in gear and post me a SASE.
To find out how to request the single and also to preview the tracks click here.
And no, you don't have to buy anything else to get the single, I mean if you do buy say my book of poems that's aaaaaaaall good, but you can just have the single on it's own. I'd much rather people were enjoying this record than it be sat in boxes in my studio!

The Thoughts of Preacher John - Book 1 - a collection of poems is now in print!
It's a pocket size red book with 40+ pages of poems - pretty much 3 years worth of performance poetry, which I was inspired to put into print 'cos people kept nicking my notepad to read and then wanting a copy..... And now they're actually buying it! Woo-ha!
To order the book click here for the Channel Idris shop page and you can preview a lot of the poems here. It's only £3 a pop - you know you want it!
